More Fanart

My nerdiness knows no bounds.

Here's some more drawings I did based on the comic at mspaintadventures.com

Blacklight Jaguar

Stylized painting of a jaguar I did just for fun.

This painting has a secret, I mixed UV sensitive paint in while I was making it.

This is the best photo I could get of it glowing, my camera really isn’t cut out for low-light photography:

Expect more blacklight paintings in the near future, as I find them very fun to do.

Animation Exercises

I took a fairly beginner animation class last semester, and here are some of the exercises I landed up doing:

These were just in-class motion exercises, so they are all really rough.

Old Fanart

This was a digital painting I did quite a while ago. It depicts my cousin's Phantasy Star Online character in his favorite level.

It's funny to me now, because it was the first of its type that I had done, and I really had no idea what I was doing.

For example, this is the actual working size of the canvas, so I couldn't really zoom in, and I did it all on one layer.

I'm glad I've since learned my lesson.

Small Sketch Update

Just a few things I scanned.

The first two are of an alien that was in a dream I had as a child. I drew it a lot when I was young, I decided to see if I could remember the design.

The next one is also from my dreams. It's a recurring monster that would appear in my nightmares when I was young.

I find it really interesting to try and draw imagery from dreams, even if it never turns out quite the way I see it in my mind.

Last one is the Scarecrow, my favorite Batman villain. We had been talking about Batman in my animation class.

More Sophomore Art

I found a few more things from my Sophomore year that I never uploaded.

H.G. Wells
H.P. Lovecraft

Edgar A. Poe

This last one was for a poster. Drawn with a tablet in Photoshop.
